What You'll Do
What As a Product Sales Specialist you will take a leadership role as the technical sales specialist driving Data Center sales for multiple verticals and market segments throughout Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. Your job will entail being the go-to sales lead on Data Center in an architectural sales approach with the Account teams of the selected accounts where Data Center opportunities are presented. You will understand, articulate and position both internally and externally Cisco's end-to-end Data Center Architecture, including Unified Computing Systems, Datacenter Switching and SDN, Datacenter Software and Multi-Cloud Solutions.
You will develop and cultivate strong relationships with key Data Center decision makers in the market and partner contacts, including ecosystem partners.
As a Product Sales Specialist, you will also be responsible for forecast accuracy related to Data Center opportunities within the assigned territory. You will define, together, with the account team, the bidding structure and the intelligence needed around our Data Center solutions to provide a winning proposal.
Mentoring Account Managers and Regional Managers to make them more effective in selling Data Center solutions will also be part of your job.
Who You'll Work With
You will work very closely with multiple external and internal stakeholders as well as with the other groups in Sales and Services organizations.
Who You Are
Throughout your career, you have demonstrable successful sales experience with 5+ years of proven track record, in Data Center related solutions, preferably combining sales experience in the Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay's market. You have demonstrated success with managing strategic accounts - including sales strategy, demand generation, opportunity discovery, forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, and short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management essential.
You are a technical seller who understands servers, storage, applications and networking along with thinking outside the box and overcoming objections. Preferably, your sales experience includes the following solutions: Datacenter, Storage, Compute, Apps, Big Data, Converged Infrastructure, Data Centre Networking and Systems, Cloud computing (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, Private, Public) and Application Performance Management.
You excel at team selling approaches and are comfortable applying business acumen and financial expertise to identify and qualify selling opportunities.
You have experience being self-sufficient during the entire sales cycle of a Data Center solution, including both technical and commercial aspects of our offering. You also thrive in negotiating with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.
