We are developing high volume leading edge mixed signal RF products for the consumer market. We are looking for embedded firmware engineers to work with the team to develop the embedded systems that control these complex products.

You will work on the design and implementation as well as verification for our real-time control firmware.

You will work closely with our Hardware Developers, System Engineers, and System Integration Engineers.

We are looking for a Firmware Engineer Intern (f/m) with respective hardware knowledge, working on the design, implementation and verification of our real-time embedded systems.

You are continuously interested in new and innovative projects as well as feeling the need for working in a challenging environment. We expect awareness for quality and a readiness to work in larger distributed and international teams of engineers from various skills.
You should be a student of Embedded Systems Design, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Additional qualifications include:

Low-level programming skills using C and assembler Embedded systems proficiency, 32-bit microcontrollers ISR, real time, limited and shared resources
HW/SW co-verification, debugging using Pre-Silicon RTL simulation and System C environments as well as target HW.
Basic understanding of signal processing will make your start easier
Basic understanding of mobile communications 2G/3G/4G/5G will make your start easier
Quality awareness, Consummate team player, open-minded personality, Self-dependent worker
Additional Info:

Start: at early Summer 2019 as an Internship (Period: min. 3-6 months, Hours: 38,5h/ week) and/or as a student worker with an availability of  15 - 20 hours per week at our offices in Linz – ideally for 1 year or more overall
Candidates need to be enrolled at university for the whole time of the student position
Location: Linz
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, Group D-E
