As well as driving the project the position will also require the detailed understanding and involvement in the establishment of an optimal master production schedule for the tactical horizon from month 3 to 24 months, including:
a) Production volumes based on demand
b) Rough cut capacity analysis
c) Resources allocation resulting in anticipated operational costs and inventory levels
• Responsible for the capacity and resources planning for the whole production unit for the tactical horizon • Optimizes local planning processes such as lead times, product segmentation, and production frequencies to increase the efficiency of the production unit
• Scenario Planning
• Establish & Manage supply KPI reporting and Analysis
Education: Technical or commercial academic education or business studies respectively
Languages: Fluent in German and English
Experience: Proven project management skills, at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, production planning, operational excellence or IT field for e.g. ERP
Strong knowledge of SAP – MM/APO, MPS and planning systems in general, (ideally prior knowledge of APICS and/or Rapid Response from Kinaxis would be an obvious advantage but is not required) and excellent production planning and control skills are preferable.
