This position is responsible for full and/or multiple brands.  Influences decision making in performance improvement and resolves obstacles.  Manages a team or could work independently.  Provides information on product available and risk communication on new launches, on-going products and end of life to both our domestic and international customers.  Initial responsibilities will be to develop and integrate smart simplicity processes into the tactical activities of this position (ex. Material Status Mgmt., Code Creation, Substitution Mgmt., Launch Reclassification, STT Timing in DPM) then harmonize these activities across all the brand cells.
Job Requirements
Required: BA/BS degree, preferably in business or supply chain.
Required: 4-5 years of overall Business Experience with the following specifics
-Required:  3 years’ experience with a Fortune 500 Manufacturer/Retailer  in at least
three of the following Supply Chain disciplines: Purchasing, Replenishment, Forecasting,
Distribution/Transportation and Sales.
-Required:  3 years’ experience in order cycle management, fill rates, service level
measurements and packaging requirements.
-Required:  3 years’ experience of retail or co-managed replenishment and forecasting
Required: Outstanding Data Management skills- Expert level Microsoft Office Suite applications with an advanced focus in Excel and Access. SAP experience a plus (not a requirement?).
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities
ISIS Monthly Planning Cycle – challenge and ensure the quality of demand and orders passed to plant and affiliates
Backorder and Service cuts follow up with plant and customers
Work with plant to reduce blocked horizon in order to increase reactivity
Work with Division to determine safety stock levels
Challenge viability of new launches by review of Marketing Brief and the Logistics Launch Data sheet in order to avoid creation of excess
Prevent excess for on-going products by monthly review of productions yielding excess and potential batch size reduction or discontinuation
Minimize Obsoletes at time of restage (run-out analyses).
ADI communication and approval with international customers and Marketing
Leads international catalogue, challenges production that generates more than six months of coverage
Master Data Maintenance in SAP.
Import planning cycle – calculate import orders and transmit to Burgos
Challenge Industrial Logistics action plan to ensure the optimization of service and inventory.
Validate forecast accuracy
