In 2012 Hamish Millar joined the lotteries division of Tatts Group. Throughout his time he managed first hand six-figure online advertising budgets, millions of pieces of weekly CRM communication and in 2014 became the CRM Engagement Manager for the lotteries and wagering companies (Golden Casket, NSW Lotteries, Tatts, SA Lotteries now known as 'the Lott' and Ubet - formerly TattsBet) In 2013 Hamish Millar delivered a strategy for a vision to create a leading global case study for the corporate use of Facebook. Over the next few years Hamish designed and delivered the social media plan for Australia's favourite lottery brands growing a presence from the ground up to over a quarter of a million highly engaged followers throughout Australia.

Hamish Millar pioneered the digital thought leadership strategy leading to the redevelopment of the corporate website, online communications plan and initial steps into the world of social media. Driven beyond the boundaries of perceived limitations, Hamish was able to roll out the first version of the corporate website in just six weeks at a hard cost of under $1,000. Not a bad result after receiving feedback of costs nearing $100,000 and months to execute. The project resulted in page 1 search rankings for 80% of the targeted keywords within two weeks of launch and a 100% increase in visits and leads within two months post launch.

CH2 is Australia’s leading provider of medical consumables, pharmaceuticals, veterinary and equipment products. As the in-house digital marking expert, Hamish Millar scoped the online marketing strategy for the eCommerce website catering to over 55's and health care professionals throughout Australia. The strategy at the time was groundbreaking, leveraging tactical promotional codes, specialist forums and leading the creation of a website that spanned over 200 pages, with daily growth through user-generated wiki and blog content. Other major achievements included the redevelopment of the company Intranet, database growth reaching over 25,000 readers and his phenomenal knowledge of search engines and optimisation drove increased visibility on key terms in Google.
