Initially I was a Senior Officer of the detention facilities within the court complex managing court attendance, responding to incidents and crisis management.

In this capacity I was responsible for security operations relating to prisoner attendance to funerals, hospital visits and court appearances as well as incident response to the state's widespread court detention facilities. My initial position was as a trainee officer in the central law courts detention facility.

I developed Excel and Access based applications to assist travelling finance brokers, developed and introduced a standard operating environment and implemented hardware leasing agreements resulting in vastly improved reliability and efficiency. So much so that I was able to make myself redundant!

I left E&Y in 1999 to return to Perth to marry.
