The company
Our client is a mid size Chartered Accounting firm based in the CBD. They specialise in business services, self managed super funds and tax accounting and have a wide variety of different clients they deal with. They are in an exciting phase of growth and as such are now looking for somebody to join their administration team!
The role
Due to continued growth, this firm are looking for a driven Corporate Affairs Administrator to join their team! The role is responsible for providing administrative support to a team of accountants.
Duties and Responsibilities
Title and company searches
Lodgements of forms through the ASIC portal
Updating client and company information
Annual company statements
Applications for ABN, GST and TFN's
Responding to emails
Invoicing
Managing job flow
Following up outstanding debts when required
Liaise with clients over the phone and via email
Assist with ad-hoc administration tasks to support the accountants
Collating documents
Maintaining client database and updating when relevant
Strong client / customer focus & ability to build strong relationships
Processing daily clients correspondence
ATO follow ups with assessment notices
Compiling tax information
Scheduling appointments

Skills & experienceExperience within an accounting firm working in a similar role
Experience in lodging all ASIC forms through online secretarial software (some BGL experience preferred)Knowledge of the ATO Portal will be highly regarded
Interested in furthering your administrative career
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong time management skills
High attention to detail
