The Assistant Restaurant Manager is to maintain complete knowledge of GYG menu items, ingredient and procedures at all times in order to proactively and promptly deliver the highest level of customer experience.This role will suit an individual that is passionate about hospitality and management and is motivated to promote GYG's values and display energy and enthusiasm for the unique brand.If you are ready to learn, develop and assist with leading a sucessful team, then you're the person we're after!Key areas of responsibilityAssist with leading both the restaurants operations as well as crew on shiftSupport the Restaurant Manager in the general running of the restaurantProactively elevate the customer experience from excellent to remarkableEnsure the consistent training and coaching of crewAssist with inventory and financial managementTo be successful in this role, you should have/be:Vibrant, enthusiastic and cheerful personalityPassion for food, quality and making the customers love usGreat leadership and communication skills with people from different cultural backgroundsCollaborative attitude, adaptability and the drive to always go a step closer to perfectionProven experience in a supervisory/management role in the QSR/restaurant/hospitality industryCompleted (or willingness to undertake) Food Safety Supervisor courseCompleted (or willingness to undertake) Responsible Service of Alcohol courseGood command of spoken and written EnglishUnderstanding of written operation and financial reportsHigh level people management and conflict resolution skillsPossess a good understanding of food safety conceptsAbility to personally execute cooking tasks and food preparation proceduresWillingness and ability to undertake one shift per months in leading kitchen positionStrong computer/IT acumen including the ability to use Microsoft Office softwareIf that describes you, please click the ?Apply? button below and attach your resume.
