Birds Nest Restuarant is the first Binchoutan Yakitori restaurant of its kind in Australia. We are the first to bring this authentic type of cuisine to Australia. We are looking for a dynamic leader who loves food and restaurant service to continue to pass on our passion for Yakitori.

We are a 50 seat restaurant, with 20-30 staff and you would be in charge of rostering, stock, staff training. You would work closely with the 2 owners but still have a lot of autonomy.

We would prefer someone with at least 2-3 years experience in commercial kitchens.

The successful candidate will be passionate and have great knowledge about food, cooking techniques and practices.

They will be responsible for running the grill and the back kitchen for both lunch and dinner service.

The would be in charge of kitchen staff recruitment, rostering and stock control. In addition they would be responsible for kitchen wage cost, training and also menu development.

They would be responsible for daily food ordering, wastage and food cost controls.

This is a full time position salary over 54k p.a.
