Your New Company

You will be working for a multidisciplinary civil contractor based in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. The company pride themselves on high quality work carried out by a skilled and experienced team of in house employees. They work both as principal contractor and subcontractor on various projects throughout the city. The company has a friendly inclusive culture. The company are very keen to get an experienced Project Engineer and get them to a point where they can run their own jobs and move into a Project Manager position.

Your Role & Responsibilities

You will be Project Engineer on a diverse range of projects. Clients range from Tier 1 & 2 contractors, to council and state government. They are looking to bring on a project engineer who has experience running their own jobs and someone who can assist with the junior engineers. You will have a team of support including PM's and OH&S to assist you as well. The job will be both site and office based around 50:50. Ideally someone who is reasonably self sufficient, has exposure to the commercial/financial side as well as running the construction on projects.

You will be required to work on projects from tender through to delivery and handover including;

Procurement

Program delivery

Project planning

Manage subcontractors and site team

Liaise with clients and stakeholders

Variations

Requirements;

BSc degree in civil engineering

3 years plus of local experience

Great communication skills, preferably someone who is confident yet still down to earth

Good computer skills

Experience working for a contractor in Melbourne

Remuneration;

You will receive a competitive salary up to $135k+ car and super depending on experience.

You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects.
