Compliance Manager - Retail Consumer Finance Focused on consumer automotive finance Bundoora, VIC High growth business due to recent acquisition Melbourne Company: Is an ASX Listed retail finance company who are focused on providing retail consumer finance to customers looking to finance motor vehicles and other assets through their Direct and Broker Channels.

Opportunity: After aligning the company behind this business strategy and making an additional acquisition, this company is positioned for growth.
To ensure that growth is sustainable, compliant with laws and internal risk policies, this new role has been created.

Role: Is a new role assembled from various compliance obligations that have be spread across the business to ensure one stakeholder is engaged to keep on top of the changes happening in compliance.

The role will be evaluating and reviewing existing policies to ensure they reflect current NCCP Act, Privacy laws and regulatory guidance
- currently focused on responsible lending etc...

The role will be designing, implementing and monitoring process controls to minimise the risk of transactions breaching internal policies or the laws impacting consumer lending.

The role will act as compliance SME on projects an also coordinate with internal teams to manage interaction with the legal team.

You will oversee the complaints handling process and conduct training with staff on compliance obligations impacting their roles.

Finally, there will be some oversight of operations teams to help ensure compliance by separating responsibility for Operations from Sales.

Requirements: We will be seeking to discuss this role with applicants who can best demonstrate the following:

1.
Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business or related field

2.
You will have developed your career in Consumer Finance, with some Compliance or Quality Assurance responsibilities

3.
People leadership experience would be well regarded

4.
Strong communication to train staff and manage internal and external stakeholders
