Consultant/Senior Consultant, Environment, Health and Safety - Brisbane Assurance Requisition # BRI001NF Post Date Dec 19, 2019 + Variety of work and career development opportunities + Be part of a high-performing, supportive culture + Work with iconic government and industry clients **About EY** **The opportunity** We are looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant for the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team based in Brisbane where you will help our broad range of clients understand and address their EHS challenges, strategically helping them to advance their EHS performance. You will work closely with our team leaders and clients to design and implement the right solution based on leading models, frameworks and technology. **Your key responsibilities** You will work as part of a leading and multidisciplinary team across a range of industries, assisting organisations to transform how they approach EHS. This will include contributing to strategy, risk management, audits, culture change, leadership, analytical frameworks, tool development to help clients succeed and navigate complex regulatory environments. **Skills and attributes for success** + Minimum three to five years demonstrated EHS experience in either the professional services/consulting or equivalent corporate/operational EHS experience + Understanding of relevant WHS legislations, regulations, codes of practice and management systems + Demonstrated experience developing and implementing EHS management systems and facilitating risk management processes + Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple deadlines + Problem solving and analytical skills + Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to work collaboratively with team and clients + Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and high level presentation skills + Fluency in a range of software applications including Microsoft Excel, Power BI + Drive, proactive approach to take initiative and ownership of supporting projects **Ideally, you'll also have** + Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, environmental or health sciences (e.g. psychology), human factors, safety science, or business will be highly regarded + Exemplar Global Lead auditor qualification is desirable + Understanding of the design and implementation of EHS management systems + EHS audit experience + Previous experience from industries such as utilities, property, facilities management retail, FMCG will be highly advantageous **Who is Climate Change and Sustainability Services** The EY EHS team is part of EY's Climate Change and Sustainability Services, which aims to help organisations identify, develop and deliver strategies that address EHS -related risk and opportunity while measuring their effectiveness.
