Reporting to the Superintendent Portfolio Planning, you will draw on your proficient project controls capabilities, and ability to measure a project against cost and schedule. As part highly collaborative team, work with project managers across multiple sites to meet their financial reporting timeframes and capital planning requirements. You’ll be part of a team that works under a defined framework, that is building processes into a modern PMO utilising data analytics and automation. You will be responsible for reporting the financial performance of multiple capital and operational portfolios. You will take full control the cost and portfolio monitoring and reporting for projects within your portfolios.   About the Role
Performs cost control and reporting through monthly reporting cycles, such as forecasting and accruals.
Work in person and remotely with project managers across various operations to ensure quality of data.
Cost tracking of relevant project spending and measures performance of portfolios against monthly targets.
Follow through investment tollgates in our portfolio management system and validate phase information, keeping the portfolio up to date.
Coach and build business acumen with key stakeholders in financial knowledge and cost control.
Report to stakeholders monthly financial analysis and assess performance against forecast.
About You

About You
The successful candidate will have experience in project services for cost control and monitoring
Understanding or exposure to corporate financial and accounting processes will be highly regarded but not essential
Have the ability to manipulate large amounts of data and create cost reports that stakeholders can engage with
Influencing skills that effectively encourage accurate reporting and financial discipline for each project
Demonstrate ability to prioritise and effectively deliver to timelines and department rhythms.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
