The Role

As part of our Corporate Affairs team for our Mars Wrigley segment, this role will be focused on how we empower our business to communicate internally and externally. Based in Melbourne, you will have the opportunity to tackle challenging projects and help establish new best practice programs. This Corporate Communications Manager role is a 12-month contract to support the business during a period of maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities

-Enhancing & protecting the reputation of Mars Wrigley, and, where appropriate, Mars, Incorporated;
-Delivering an internal communications program which informs, engages and inspires Associates, and connects them to our Purpose;
-Building strong relationships with our external stakeholders through strategic programs and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnerships;
-Driving our external media relations program through business, category and consumer media.

What you will bring to the role:

-Degree qualification in marketing, communications or related business discipline;
-Demonstrated experience in a communications, PR or marketing role;
-Strong internal communications experience preferable;
-Previous experience in a FMCG or consumer goods environment highly regarded;
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
-Sound commercial and decision-making skills, including project budget management.
