Roche Diagnostics Australia is committed to provide healthcare professionals with digital decision support solutions that transform patient care and have launched the NAVIFY™® brand, with the first product being the NAVIFY™® Tumor Board solution.
We are seeking a Digital Business Manager to join the newly formed Clinical Decision Support (CDS) team focusing on the Australian In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) market. Your key focus will be to provide effective overall vision and strategic direction for the CDS product portfolio that fit within the customer’s software ecosystem, you will lead, manage and support the attainment of sales, customer satisfaction, customer retention and profit objectives.
You will fulfill the ongoing needs of partnership development with potential and existing high-value customers consistently and effectively. You will also work collaboratively with internal partners to communicate and generate awareness of industry trends that may impact sales and product success.
You will provide strategic decision making, leadership and planning including the efficient and effective use of resources. You will report to the Managing Director for Roche Diagnostics Australia and will have a dotted reporting line to the Head of Clinical Decision Support Asia Pacific. Additionally, you will have a dotted supervisory role to an Implementation Manager for the portfolio. The role will be based at our North Ryde office.
International and interstate travel will be required for this role.
Who you are
You are someone who influences your own development, pursues your interests across functions and geographies, and understands that a job title is not the final definition of who you are, but a starting point.
You should possess a degree or equivalent in a related discipline such as Biology, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering. You should have at least four years of sales and marketing experience within healthcare related organizations with demonstrated success selling healthcare products (eg. EMRs, PACS, LIS) that require negotiation of multi-year contract agreements and closing of high-value deals. Additionally, you should have at least three years of management experience with demonstrated strong competency and proven track record in sales management and leadership.
Ideally, you have experience selling enterprise-wide software solutions with integration to other systems (eg. Cloud/SaaS) and have experience with workflow and decision support tools/systems.
Well-versed in the knowledge of Healthcare Information Security (data safety) and Healthcare/Medical purchasing behaviors and cycles, you are someone who have demonstrated high levels of sales proficiency and industry –specific experience managing long sales cycles. You are a strategic thinker and problem solver with excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
