Job Description

Reportingto the Director of Events, you will be responsible for the catering logisticsof conference and incentive group business. Whilst ensuring service deliveryexceeds client expectations and revenue is maximised for the resort. The goalis to provide a one stop shop contact for a client’s total residentialconference experience from the time the initial deposit is paid and contractsigned through to finalisation of the bill.

Requirements

We arelooking for a proven performer in a fast paced, high volume and challengingrole. Strong organisational skills, banqueting operational experience, creativeflair and excellent organisational skills are essential. Knowledge of OPERA,ISAC (or similar catering & sales system) is preferred however notnecessary and Microsoft office software is desired. To be successful in this challengingand rewarding role you will have previous experience in a similar role within a4 or 5 star hotel/resort with large event facilities or other event managementrelated background working with clients and working on large corporate events.

Key responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to, conductingsite inspections, conductingpre conference and post conference briefings for all groups, ensure all detailsof the event or group are accurately input into the event booking System, communicateall client requests to the operational teams within the hotel effectively, generateBanquet Event Orders for all events ensuring they are detailed and accuratelyin line with the Standards and Procedures Manual.
