The Conflicts Resolution Group (“CRG”) is a control function whose mission is to evaluate advisory, financing, principal investing, lending and certain other activities to identify actual or perceived conflicts of interest and assess the potential reputational risks resulting from the potential intersection among new and existing roles, positions, and responsibilities that the firm may have. 
This assistant position is based in the Sydney office to support the Conflicts Resolution Group (CRG) members based in Asia, and the candidate will work directly on a day-to-day basis with five CRG members who are based in Sydney.  In addition, the candidate will also support other CRG members located in Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo).
The candidate’s major responsibilities include admin support including answering incoming calls, managing calendars and meetings, scheduling and setting up regional and global conference calls for the group, data entry, travel, expense reports, ad-hoc projects and assignments and helping the CRG team elsewhere in the region when needed.  The candidate needs to communicate effectively with assistants and bankers in various divisions (including IBD and the Securities Division) in the Sydney office, as well as assistants across Asia and US/Europe, especially when scheduling conference calls for the group.Basic Qualifications

Very strong verbal and written English abilities a must
The successful candidate will be flexible, reliable, eager, diligent and a team player, interacts well with all levels as well as other region’s assistants
Professional attitude and appearance, assertive
Highly organized and strong attention to detail, stay on top of outstanding tasks
Self-motivated, proactive and intuitive to determine how to get thing done
Be able to work under pressure
Excellent judgement, independent thinker and resourceful
Experience in Microsoft Outlook critically important
Experience with PowerPoint and Excel ideal
Strong understanding of risk management, compliance and confidentiality
