Our Field Service’s team provide 24/7 service for an immense range of products across three verticals; electrical distribution, industrial automation and critical infrastructure. These verticals cover just about every sector imaginable from mining, to hospitals, from utilities to data centres and everything in-between. Our field Service business enable owners, end users and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability & efficiency while reducing costs and simplifying operations.
Due to significant growth in our business we have an exciting opportunity for Field Service Engineer. Based in Sydney this role is responsible for the delivery of ‘on-site’ and ‘workshop’ technical expertise in the; repair, maintenance, installation, testing and commissioning of LV & MV VSD’s
Specific activities will include;
Working autonomously; you will investigate, inspect, test, fault finding, maintain and repair of VSD’s and associated products on customers sites
Accurately and timely completion of technical reports on serviced equipment
In this busy, highly customer facing role, you will demonstrate exceptional customer centricity and achieve impressive levels of customer satisfaction
Ensure that all service work is delivered efficiently, effectively and safely
Supporting the business growth through identification of new opportunities and actively seeking to provide added value to our offers whilst working closely with internal stakeholders
Required Skills and Experience:
Electrical trade qualification and an unrestricted electrical license is essential
Solid understanding and experience with VSD’s and associated products is highly preferable
Electrical testing and/or servicing experience of industrial equipment is essential
White Card, First Aid Trained & LV Rescue
Good verbal and written communication skills
An understanding of the MMM, WWW and F&B sectors
Ability and willingness to be part of a 24/7 rosta, to undertake local, interstate as well as occasionally international travel for deployment or training
