THE COMPANY: We are searching for a Head Chef to drive the amazing team in Darwin. Reporting to the Executive Chef, we need a dynamic Chef who can work well in a high volume environment and effectively manage a well established team. This is one of Darwin's largest entertainment and accommodation venues offering customers the ultimate premium stay.

THE ROLE: This is an exciting and key role within the management team. We are looking for a well versed and passionate HEAD CHEF with varied strengths. Our successful Head Chef must have held a position managing multi outlet operation in the past and be looking for a long term opportunity. We need a dynamic leader, who has lead a team of up to 25 staff in the past. Your duties will to be running the entire outlet autonomously under the direction of the Executive Sous Chef & Executive Chef. We need a someone who is polished, professional and well articulated, both written and verbal. This is a really exciting opportunity for a skilled Head chef to ensure the smooth running of a busy and high volume venue on a daily bases. Our successful candidate needs to be creative, and have the drive to thrive on the daily!

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: * Experience as a successful multi outlet Head chef * An exceptional service standard * Experience in managing a team of 25+ * The ability to direct, train and mentor a driven team * Experience in liaising with different departments and suppliers * Trade qualifications are essential * Exceptional communication, both written and verbal * Polished and professional presentation * The in depth knowledge of the in's and out's of the local trends * The ability to operate within departmental budgets * Ability to lead by example * A consistent focus on continuous improvement at all times * Experience in a high volume environment
