About the role

Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance Analysis & Improvement (A&I), you as the Maintenance Analysis & Improvement Engineer – Operational Readiness will be involved in supporting the sites maintenance function to achieve maintenance excellence. In this role you will:Commit to Safety.

Engage in daily safety leadership activities and discussions to promote safety.
Actively identify and implement safety improvements.
Coordinate Operational Readiness.
Coordinate operational readiness portfolio based on Capital Project deliveries.
Plan and schedule resources to achieve operational readiness deliverables.
Engage stakeholders, educate and uphold standards as prescribed by the operational readiness process.
Actively identify and implement operational readiness process improvements.
Deliver Operational Readiness Deliverables.
Set up maintenance systems and perform analyses to develop and deploy maintenance strategies for new equipment to underpin plant reliability. This involves the development of master data for projects including functional location structures, cataloguing, equipment bills of materials, task lists, maintenance items and plans.
Develop work instructions or similar documentation in alignment with the maintenance strategy and requirements for maintenance tasks.
Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way.
Degree qualified in Engineering (or a closely related).
Working experience with operational readiness.
Highly regarded if you have a strong experience in Work Management and Material Master Data Management, particularly in the SAP environment.
Working experience with reliability concepts and tools such as FMEA, RCA, or similar.
A positive attitude, proactive and intuitive with problem solving.
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and complete scheduled tasks in a timely manner.
Ability to build mutually beneficial relationships across functional teams.
Well-developed communication and engagement skills.
