Metcash is presenting a great opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join their New Zealand Tasman Liquor team. This will be a permanent part time role of 20 hours per week based in our Auckland office. The Procurement Officer is responsible for performance and management of the procurement function including procurement strategy and functions associated with supplier management,purchase order creation and processing to achieve maximum efficiency and financial targets for the Organisation. This role will require you to deal with suppliers, internal stakeholders daily to deliver cost effective and efficient processing solutions

What You’ll do

Reporting to the National Sales and Trading Manager you will be responsible for the following activities;

- Stock Ordering to ensure the effective management of inventory within Company guidelines
- Maintenance of outstanding Purchase Orders
- Product Maintenance – to ensure the latest status is recorded in the system
- Running required Stock Reports
- Coordination with Internal and External Stakeholders including Suppliers and Internal Tasman Staff What you’ll bring

- 2-3years’ experience in a procurement officer or similar role
- Dynamics 365 (to be trained on the job)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel
- Demonstrated Stakeholder management experience
