About the opportunity
This position is part of the EY Real Estate Services team. The Oceania Real Estate Leader is responsible for the Real Estate management of all Oceania offices. This includes lease portfolio planning with activities for new leases, renewals, lease restructures, sub-leasing and managing occupant requirements.
In your role as Oceania Regional Real Estate Leader you’ll:
Support the Oceania Leadership Occupancy initiatives
Supports Global / Area initiatives and accountabilities
Use in-depth knowledge of clients and industry, professional organisations, market trends and legislation to identify key issues and trends and make recommendations
Develop and maintain Landlord liaisons
Initiate Real Estate transaction projects. To include establishment of governance and strategy for Project Control Group (PCG) teams
Approve Real Estate invoices within policy for payment
We’re looking for people with the following experience:
Minimum 10 years senior management experience in leasing for professional services or large multi-national corporations.
Experience at senior level stakeholder management
Excellent written and verbal communications, presentation and writing skills
Ability to work remotely and experience in working within a virtual team
Experience in negotiating Real Estate transactions including negotiation strategy, influencing and ability to close deals
Solid analytical skills including financial and property analysis with experiencing in budgeting, cash flow analysis and forecasting
Experience in managing large amounts of logistical information
Experience as a project team leader or advisor for strategic initiatives
Exceptional Project Management Skills
Self-starter and ability to work independently
