Join PwC’s Consumer and Industrial Products and Services(CIPs) team as a Senior Consultant and be part of  a team that provides assurance on the financial performance and operations of our clients’ businesses and is the world's leading practice of its kind. Our audit clients include almost half of the FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 and many of the top ASX listed companies. PWC CIPs team conduct external audit for consumer and industrial products industries.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join our Perth Assurance team where you’ll gain exposure to a broad category of cross industries including mining, energy, utilities, government and financial services. You’ll also get exposure to ASX listed companies as well as large multinational organisations.
 
About you:
The brief is simple…
 
You will have completed or be studying towards a CA/CPA qualification or equivalent; possess solid technical knowledge and understanding of accounting standards gained in a professional services environment; an ability to demonstrate an understanding of commercial issues facing business; and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 
To be successful in the role you will have previously been responsible for or have demonstrated:


exposure to all aspects of audit and statutory reporting
research and provide advice to clients on issues faced in relation to reporting and address client requests for assistance on a timely basis
have a sound working knowledge of overseas accounting regimes such as US GAAP and IFRS
effective day to day management of clients
management and delegation to junior staff whilst working on engagements
