Senior Manager, Compliance Governance & OperationsOur Enterprise Compliance team within our Risk Management Group is growing and is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Compliance Governance and Operations team based here in our global Sydney head office.

The Governance and Operations team within Enterprise Compliance is tasked with supporting and co-ordinating the Compliance Strategy, communications and people engagement. The team will co-ordinate and drive Compliance-wide reporting including the development of metrics and dashboards as well as managing Compliance governance committees

The team also manage the Compliance Frameworks, global policies and act as an effective interface for projects and initiatives which impact the Compliance function. The team will also be responsible for driving Continuous Improvement.

As a Senior Manager in the team, the role will see you develop and manage Compliance reporting, including board and senior management reporting (driving consistency in approach across the regions and enhancements to the underlying data). You'll also develop and manage Compliance metrics and dashboards designed to ensure operational efficiency and to provide detailed reporting to senior management (including conduct and employee dashboards)

In addition to this you will aid in developing the Compliance strategy and managing delivery against the programme of work as well as co-ordinating feedback and input into global Risk Management Group's initiatives (e.g. taxonomy updates, RMS, RAS etc).

To succeed in this role, you will bring with you a good understanding of a banks Compliance function, compliance risks and risk management frameworks.

You will be able to demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management skills, as they may sit in Compliance, the wider Risk Management Group or the extended business/support group environment. As such strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across geographically dispersed Compliance and the wider Risk Management Group teams are essential.

An inquisitive mind coupled with a willingness to perpetually question and study key challenges, risks and trends will stand you in good stead for this role as will the ability to exercise due skill, care and diligence consistently in everything you do
