The Store Person will be responsible for receiving, recording, storing, unpacking, and moving of goods in a loading dock environment, as well as driving and delivering to other locations. The successful person will also be responsible for all the cleaning in and around the food service storage areas. This role requires a physically fit individual applying a pro-active approach to safety and utilisation of the equipment supplied to manage and move stock across the site. Key Duties Receive, record and store all food service deliveries whilst implementing the required procedures from the Food Safety Plan.Competently and safely load and unload trucks and containers dailyOperation of special purpose vehicle and towingApply strong organisational skills with the ability to self-manage time effectivelyAccuracy in rotation of stock and competent in the monthly stocktakeMonitoring stock to ensure only approved goods are received Monitoring of stock level whilst communicating any shortages to appropriate Manager/SupervisorMaintaining an exceptionally clean, organised and safe work location The Person:Display a positive attitude to daily challenges.A willingness and flexibility to meet the needs of changing priorities and a resilient nature.Display a strong safety focus to self and othersPrevious experience within a similar role or willingness to learn.An eye for detail with excellent customer service standardsAbility to work autonomously and self-manage their time effectively.Personable, a team player who has exceptional communication skillsAbility to stay calm under pressureMust have full and valid Australian Driver LicenceCurrent Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain oneIn line with the required legislation, a valid and current criminal record check and staff health check will be required as part of the standard recruitment and selection process for this position.Advertised: 26 Nov 2019 AUS Eastern Daylight TimeApplications close: 30 Jan 2020 AUS Eastern Daylight Time
