Reporting to the Superintendent Load & Haul, within the Jimblebar Mining Operations team your duties will include:
Oversee the effective operation and support of the fleet management system across the Mines through regular engagement with site stakeholders  
Coach and mentor Controllers & System Builders to reduce variability through Dispatch Tactics compliance, monitoring and actioning variance
Facilitate and engage in all aspects of Mine Control Supervisor & Field Builders handovers and Performance Centre Meetings 
Manage appropriate run team numbers and allocation of resources to achieve planned outcomes and execution of the plan(s)
Manage run team performance to achieve the business KPIs and deliver measureable outcomes through coaching, regular feedback and one-on-one conversations
Conduct simple root cause analyses investigations when performance standards have not been met or at the request of site stakeholders

About You

As the successful candidate you will possess the following: 
Previous experience in control systems operation, mine-operating experience and a high degree of computer literacy is essential
Experience leading and mentoring teams and an ability to motivate and develop direct reports
Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to lead change 
Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
Previous experience with Minestar is highly regarded
Minimum of C class manual drivers licence

You will be based at our ‘Jimblebar’ mine site on a fly-in fly-out working 8 days on, 6 days off roster. Jimblebar is a fully automated mine site and is located 40kms North East of Newman, Western Australia. The outstanding facilities at Warrawandu FIFO village include; a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, golf driving nets, outdoor cinema, netted cricket pitch, tennis and basketball court; beach volleyball court, games room, music room and TV lounge. All rooms at the village have access to 3G wireless internet and Skype, an ensuite bathroom, flat screen television, refrigerator and air-conditioning.
