Join our new South Flank Project The South Flank Project is an expansion of BHP's existing Mining Area C hub, located approximately 130 km by road north-west of the town of Newman. This project has potential to become one of the largest standalone iron ore processing centres in the world, within reach of several billion tonnes of high-grade ore.

Your focus as a Trainer Assessor is to implement training plans and resource material for the training of operators in the Mining Production and Drill & Blast areas to ensure a high level of competency.

You will train personnel competency to operate a full range of heavy mining machinery (Haul Trucks, graders, excavators and dozers) and in the safe provision of drill and blast services, from drilling, loading and blasting.
About You

As the preferred candidate, you will have a Training and Assessing Certificate IV (TAA or TAE) – 40116 preferred. You also have demonstrated operational experience in either of the following areas: Drill and blast and/or mining operations (range of equipment from haul trucks to large excavators).

You will have well developed communication skills, be proactive, influential, relate well with people, and building strong working relationships with key stakeholders.

Energetic and driven, you work well in a dynamic and challenging environment bringing a high attention to detail and the consistent ability to meet multiple deadlines.
