We are seeking aBusiness Development Partnerwho isresponsible for generating growth initiatives through the ongoing recruitment of new customers, statewide. This role is based in Perth and is responsible for Western Australian growth.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Role specific:

- Generation of leads and development of sales pipeline
- Prospect for leads at industry events, networking events and inbound inquiries
- Close sales
- Achieve setacquisitiontargets
- Provide weekly sales reports to management
- Initiate network member applications from interested parties
- Undertake presentations as requested to progress the sales process
- Provide proposals in collaboration with manager
- Complete sales and activity reporting as required by your manager
- Maintain customer details and communication updates in the CRM
- Work with Travel Partners support throughout process and on-boarding
- Other duties as directed by management Key Result Areas


- Achieve agreed sales targets for each of the business model
- Achieve sales revenue to meet targets
- Customer retention Business Process:

- Provision of proposals within agreed time frames
- Submission of reporting as required by manager & business
- 100% timeliness of data Customer Satisfaction:

- Agency feedback
- Client satisfaction survey feedback Self & Team:

- Participation in team events as required
- Completion of training as directed by your manager
Selection Criteria


- Intimate knowledge of travel industry and strong connections throughout
- 5 years in Sales &/orBusiness Development roles with demonstrated results (please outline)
- Proven track record in successful business relationship development & maintenance
- Solid travel industry network
- High level of business acumen
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Great attitude and helpful approach
- Ability to use initiative appropriately
- Unrestricted vehicle licence and passport
