United Private International Schools August 2011 - July 2016I have been a Homeroom teacher for Grade 5 boys and Grade 7 girls (the school separates classes by gender from Grade 4). I plan, teach, and asses learning according to the designed curriculum, which is based on an English National Curriculum, and adapt learning according to the needs of the pupils. The majority of the students speak English as a second language, so I put a lot of emphasis on specific Art vocabulary in my teaching. I have been teaching Art based on the IGCSE Cambridge Curriculum. As an Art Coordinator I ensure that the department has the necessary materials for Art projects, working closely with colleagues to ensure lessons are delivered as planned. Extra-curricular Activities run: end of school-year Art Exhibitions, Mural Painting and Traditional Still-life Pencil Drawing.
The INternational School of Choueifat January 2008 - June 2011Art Teacher (Grades 2 to 8). I taught Art based on a personally designed curriculum, adapted to the needs of the students, preparing them for local competitions (as agreed by the school). In May 2010, one of my Grade 8 students was awarded second prize for the Spreading the Light Through Human Values competition – a national competition sponsored by the Times of Oman. Activities run: Painting, Modelling Clay Sculpture. At the end of the school year I used to organize exhibitions of the students’ artworks in the school’s Auditorium Hall or decorate it for graduating ceremonies.

I planned, taught and assessed learning on the Study of Sculpture and Composition in Sculpture to students from grade 5 to grade 12 according to the Romanian National Art Curriculum designated for gifted learners studying Art in depth in all genres: Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics, Graphics and Decorative Arts.
Schools No 2 and No 13 September 1998 - December 2007Art Teacher (Grades 5 to 8). I planned, taught and assessed projects of Fine Arts, Technical and Perspective Drawing and Knowledge of History of Fine Arts according to the guidelines of the Romanian National Curriculum which provides a list of skills and knowledge such as : experimenting 2D or 3D Art production to communicate and express feelings, thoughts and experiences, developing motor skills in using art tools and media, developing an appreciation of Art as a source of enjoyment, using Art vocabulary and terminology according to the level, exploring Art materials and techniques, identifying the elements and principles of Visual Arts language, developing students ability to analyze their own works at all stages, recognizing the social cultural and historical significance of Art.
