    Responsible for the set-up, development and management of Dufry Kenya Ltd. • Created Dufry Kenya as a legal entity and oversaw the construction of 750 sq.m. of retail space with a 5% saving on budget. • Negotiated a Concession reduction of USD 1.5M whilst increasing retail space by 8% and the concession term by 2 extra years leading to a 20% profit increase. • Recruited, trained and managed 60 local staff operating across all key functions. • Identified and negotiated commercial terms with 15+ local brands leading to a 17% souvenir sales contribution, the highest of all operations in Africa. • After 18 months created the second largest operation in Africa with sales exceeding budget by 16% in the first 5 months of 2018 with the most improved and 2nd highest mystery shopping result of 89%. • In 2018 voted "Best Retail Outlet" within the 10 airports operated by the KAA.

    Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the 2nd largest store in Oceania (17 FTE, $20+M turnover) and managing the watch and jewellery (W&J) category at three stores including the development of new sales, training, recruitment, incentives, merchandising, operations, CRM and aftersales initiatives. • In 2011, increased W&J sales at the only store in the AP region to meet its W&J budgets, exceeding the watch budget by 23% (155% increase on 2010 in terms of units, 102% in value) and the jewellery budget by 113%. • As a result of the above, in 2012 made responsible for the W&J category at the region’s second largest store leading to an increase in world watch sales rankings by 25 places, thereby becoming one of the top 50 LV watch stores, and an increase in YTD jewellery sales of 20%. • In 2012, obtained the highest individual Total Sales, SPT and UPT ranking (YTD) as a Manager including a number of high value, made-to-order and special commission sales.

Developed a UK market entry strategy and managed the UK launch of an Italian luxury company selling “en primeur” wines. • Bezign.com. Obtained 30+ Letters of Intent from brands such as Asprey, Browns, Chatila, Cartier, Dunhill, Jimmy Choo for an on-line auction and e-tail site providing an e-commerce platform and sales channel for surplus stock.
