I was skippering boats between Tortola and the small islands in North Sound, Virgin Gorda, mostly in the weekends. The third project I was involved was managing the renovation process for the beach facilities (bar, restaurant, gift shop, water sports center and beach area) on Prickly Pear island, Virgin Gorda, BVI. This position involved marketing, promoting and selling the unique experience this beautiful spot has to offer, attracting and negotiating with potential clients (mostly cruise line companies). A budget awareness is always on the agenda and an attention to detail.
S/Y Burrasca - Private Sailing Yacht June 2014 - November 2014My responsibilities included all deck operations (maintenance, cleaning, line handling, polishing, buffing corking, sanding, polishing the structure, teak treatment, full wash downs including the hull) as the yacht had a massive refit. Maintenance and cleaning of all sailing equipment (Masts, Booms, Vangs, Runners, Mast lights, Stay Sail & Genoa Sail), servicing and cleaning all the winches
onboard etc.), water sports and tender driving as well as watch keeping and helming the yacht throughout our passages. I have
fulfilled all my duties to the full satisfaction of my captain and owner and improved my knowledge of navigation, sailing and deck operations in our 4 month passage from Cartagena, passing through Valencia (with a longer ship yard period), Menorca, Mallorca, Corsica, Genoa and making our way even to Cagliari, in the South of Sardinia.

SeaDream Yacht Club December 2011 - November 2013I was in charge of the executive part of the Activities department onboard a 104 m Vessel. My responsibilities involved, but were not limited to: Creating and setting up the sales brochure, PPT Presentation, constant communication with the local port agents, sales and promotion of tours and various entertainment programs and managing the entertainment team. In the same time I was in charge of the full water-sports operation onboard (safety and general operations on marina platform, maintenance and managing the w.s. team - 6 members), Responsible for tendering guests to the beach for parties and location setup. The managerial and administrative side of my position involved keeping a close eye at the department's budget and targets, while keeping a good, efficient yet relaxed atmosphere within the team. As a notable performance I could mention that, together with the Club Director, we managed to take our targeted sales budget for 2012 from 150,000 $ to over 300,000 $.

Pink Wave Animation April 2010 - October 2011In the second year of university I decided to take part in an internship program and become part of a great team that eventually became a family. I started at the Front desk learning the ins and outs of the department: various paper work, guest interaction, billing and daily reports, check in forms etc. I quickly learned the information needed to perform efficiently within my position. The year after I returned early in the season to continue the road began and after a month and a half in reception decided to try a different department: Hotel Entertainment. My bubbly personality and energetic mood helped me to quickly become part of a great team of entertainers. From sports activities (beach volley, ping pong, water gym, stretching, etc.) to dance lessons, Sound and lights control during evening shows, it all lead to an amazing season and life long friends.
