• Hotel manager

    at Xinda Hotel

    October 2010 - at Present

    Beijing Shi

After I graduated I helped my family to run a hotel (50 rooms) in Beijing. I was responsible for each and every aspect of the hotel management, from front-of-house departments such as reception and concierge services to housekeeping, maintenance and catering. Behind the scenes responsibilities include hiring staff, managing budgets, taking care of public relations and setting sales targets. I successfully boosted the turnover from the first year of around 800 thousand yuan to more than 2.5 million after three-years’ hard-working. When the hotel business had been stable, I had enough time to do other jobs. Then I entered a stated-owned (CNPC) company to increase my career network. While at the same time, I am still responsible for all businesses of Xinda Hotel as an executive manager all the time.
