Services offered

  • SEN Program consultant

I train teachers, shadow aides, caregivers and parents on behavior intervention program and lesson modification techniques on modular program. In addition, I am able to assess students and prepare individualized educational plan, and group programs to help a special needs student learn to his maximum potential using specific approach and strategy suited to a child's individual needs.
I had worked as consultant on Academic Support Program for SEN students at The Play Project Mahavidya Inner Health in Seremban, Malaysia. Part of my responsibilities then include designing a curriculum from Early Intervention Program to Vocational Program. Moreover, I train SEN teachers on different teaching techniques and approaches, guide them how to prepare daily notes and Progress Reports, and how to prepare teacher-made worksheets and resources.
I am adept at preparing individualized social story to help students eliminate unsociable behaviours and to help them in transitioning stages. I prefer Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) technique over the reward system, though I sometimes use rewards (specifically for younger children) if I feel that the child responded well with it.
