    Working on a joint industry project (JIP) between UTP & Heriot Watt University on co-optimization of CO2-EOR and sequestration. The goal of the project is minimizing numerical uncertainties that can affect the predictions of hydrocarbon recovery. The objectives of the JIP project are as follows: • Investigating the phase behavior of CO2-oil system experimentally (using a PVT cell). • Testing oil recovery and CO2 storage by performing several core flooding tests with varies injection strategies and under different operating conditions. • Developing the best-practice methods for simulating CO2 EOR in field-scale models using commercial simulators. • Optimizing CO2 EOR and storage in a Malaysian reservoir.

The scope of work is as follows: • Reviewing all available data, • Preparing production and reservoir data to create OFM project. • Performing Decline Curve Analysis. • Performing volumetric calculations to estimate three types of reserves (P1, P2 and P3). ▪ Recommend field development plan for depleted fields. ▪ Support the geology and geophysics team in reaching field development objectives. ▪ In addition to experience in tendering, contracts rules and regulations.
