University of liege February 2013 - at PresentWe are working on, both theoretical and experimental, towards the origins of quantum physics within a classical system. In this system we have been using a surfing droplet on vibrating liquid to understand the complicated quantum physics. Previously researches have shown remarkable evidence of quantum particle behaviour, including double slit and tunnelling, using droplet surfing (in other words walkers). Those droplets can therefore be considered as a classical manifestation of quantum wave-particle duality in the spirit of Bohm's interpretation of quantum mechanics.
My involvement, in this project, is to investigate the dynamics of the droplet motion which periodically bouncing on the surface of vibrating liquid and to explore this analogy in further detail, with particular emphasis on complex dynamics (many-particle systems, complex scattering geometries).
