    Planning and Scheduling services provided on the construction project focuses on the evaluation of contractual entitlement of various Contractors’ claims under FIDIC Red & Yellow books and NEC 3 forms of Contract. Quantification of critical path delay using Time Impact Analysis, As Planned vs. As-Built Analysis, Windows Analysis and Impacted As-Planned Analysis, as well as the evaluation of Contractors baseline schedule, concurrent delays, productivity factors, and disruption events using measured mile approach. Assess Contractor and company generated schedules for usefulness, logic, level of detail, input sources, timing, lines of communication, and interfaces with other functional elements and consistency with Current Control Estimate, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and the Establishes the schedule requirements and frequencies of issue for all of the contractor schedule deliverables. Strives for timely detection of trends and specifically deviations from the plan.



    January 2015 - April 2017

    Lead consultants representing the Employer on an oil and gas multi product pipeline project for the South African State National rail, port and pipeline company (TRANSNET). He performed forensic delay analysis and prepared findings pertaining to damages suffered by the Employer resulting from remediation work to replace defective material on the product Tank Farm. The commission involved an as- planned versus as-built critical path schedule analysis with emphasis on the as-built productivity schedule in order to establish disruption and prolongation issues. Assisted the delay expert witness appointed by the contractor in an ICC arbitration (London) hearing on a mine in northern Mozambique. The task was to perform delay analysis and render opinions to the appointed legal counsel regarding the contractor’s entitlement to the project delays; and to evaluate the validity of counterclaims presented by the owner. Arbitration Tribunal Decision - $5 million in favour of the Contractor.



    February 2013 - December 2014

    Sheun was the Senior Project Planner responsible for the planning, scheduling and controlling the Balance of Plant scope of work which involved Civil, Piping, Mechanical and Electrical Fit on the Medupi Power Station from the Design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning Phases. Other responsibilities include: Identifying and assisting in with the analysis of project schedule variances and then recommended associated corrective actions. Maintained the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the sole purpose of providing overall project feedback to site management. Produced delay analysis and schedule reports to commercial department to substantiate extension of time claims. Identified first critical path activities, second critical path activities and other near critical activities and schedule variances that might put key milestone dates at risk. Proposed remedial action plans. Disseminated up-to-date project information such as SPI, CPI, ETC, TCPI to project team.
