    - Heterogeneous catalyst development for energy and environmental applications - Developed mixed metal oxide nanofiber electrocatalysts for water splitting. - Developed and successfully tested semiconductor nanofiber photocatalysts for hydrogen evolution. - Developed novel hydrocracking fibrous catalyst from nano zeolites- in collaboration with ADNOC refining research center - Well versed in materials characterization through various techniques including advanced microscopy such as HR-SEM, HR-TEM, STEM, AFM and XRD, FTIR and BET. - Conferred with material properties of mixed metal oxide nanofibers during their investigation and evaluation for hydrogen evolution applications. - Reviewed material failure and implemented laboratory tests to establish or reject possible causes, and advised on ways to overcome any problems. - Developed novel polymeric composite membranes for desalination - Well versed in polymer characterization techniques of TGA, DMA, DSC and tensile testing.
