    An expansion project worth 120 million euros with participation from ARKEMA Engineering Team (France), ARKEMA Kerteh Management Team (Malaysia), TechnipFMC & LINDE. • Served as an interface between Plant Management Team and the other parties. • Participated in Hazard and Operability studies (HAZOP), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), PID & 3D models reviews and brainstormed solutions to resolve conflicts and best serve plant’s interests. • Played a key role in preparing documents for the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMP) for local government’s approval (DOE). • Supervised the tie-in activities, executed during and after the scheduled Turnaround. • Managed the closure of construction punch list and performed commissioning of units. • Worked on improvements and debottlenecking existing units in order to cater the increase in demand, awaiting project completion.

    To execute several propositions recommended by an energy audit in order for the plant to be certified ISO 50001-Energy Management. • Developed various energy efficiency indicators with Excel & Aspen, which serve to detect energy consumption. • Executed several industrial trials to reduce energy consumption of the distillation columns. • Worked with several departments in establishing new production protocols that maintains high production while optimising energy consumption.

    Revamping hydraulics circuits in the compressors and studying the possibility of producing new product with the existing plant. • Updated and compiled the hydraulic circuits in a mini "process-book" in collaboration with KEM ONE (Arkema’s contractor for engineering studies). • Worked with several departments in conducting hazard and operability studies (HAZOP) on the hydraulic circuits. • Simulated the seven stages of compression, which goes up to 2500 bars in order to analyse the impact of injecting new gas into the system.

    Global Manufacturing Training (GMT) is a global corporate initiative in creating training modules for operators that combines theoretical knowledge with the Return of Experience (REX) of the operators. • Worked with operators in order to understand their point of view in achieving high production rate while ensuring the safety of their teammates. • Studied the existing corporate and plant’s documents (Operations manuals, Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) manuals, etc.). • Created training manuals for future operators in taking account of the process, production, maintenance & SHE requirements.
