Marine Seismic Survey - Knowledge Risk Management March 2014 - at PresentProvide marine seismic survey planning and tender preparation services. I promote the knowledge risk management methodology and provide management training for quality management systems and risk management integrated processes. I also blog about the marine seismic service and offshore oil and gas sector marineseismicsurvey.com. I am also a somewhat disenfranchised whistle blower advocate against workplace violence, mobbing, harassment and bullying. I manage and blog No Psychopaths in Geo-Services, nopgs.com. (I am a US citizen residing in Chiang Rai, Thailand, which presently is not a menu selection on Bebee.)
Whistle blower - Contract Sales Supervisor Africa
Petroleum Geo=Services September 2010 - at PresentMy last position with PGS was with the Marine Contract Division as a Contract Sales Supervisor - Africa in Weybridge, England. This is where my whistle blowing on high level management begin and where PGS' effort to punish me and conceal corruption began. I continue to find justice and make the offshore marine seismic sector a more healthy and safe environment. No one should be punished for revealing unsafe practices and no lawful management should punish those who reveal malfeasance. I have named the corrupt in several online blogs (LinkedIn - nopgs.com): my boss Edward von Abendorff, VP Contract Sales - Africa; Marine Contract Africa President, Simon Cather; HR Manager EAME (ret.) David Nicholson created and harbor forged HR records to retaliate in my professional job search. They were aided by other executives. These are crooked workplace bullies/mobbers. I have publicly written about them and they have not/cannot challenge the allegations. Please see nopgs.com posts.
Contract Sales Supervisor - Africa
Petroleum Geo-Services (Weybridge, Surrey, UK) September 1998 - December 2013I am a USA citizen. As a part of the Marine Seismic Sales - Africa team based in Weybridge, I interacted directly with oil & gas operator clients/customers to promote marine seismic (and E&M) acquisition and data processing services. I prepared tenders, was involved in the risk assessment process. I canvassed new opportunities and kept abreast of current O&G developments.
I prepared more tenders for customers than any other member in the group for the period I was employed. I created a project management / risk management workbook to better track the sales through project process and highlight risks. This was an annual KPI. I made and effort to incorporate Quality Management System (QMS) principles in the Sales process.
I am a proponent of fact-based decision making and advocated for a stronger knowledge storage and knowledge sharing system that would improve delivery time and quality to customers and take away pressure from vessel, operation, and project managers.
