I manage master data in SAP at Diageo. I work in the customer service field for 8 years. I was just hired by Diageo and my team leader has already congratulated me for the quality of my work. I speak English, Spanish, Hungarian, Italian, French and Chinese. I am learning German and Dutch.
Master Data Controller - Iberia
Diageo February 2017 - at PresentI was hired to create and amend master data of customers and vendors in SAP for the Iberia (Spain and Portugal) market and also to act as second stage approver of travel expense reports for Diageo employees in Mexico.
I have just started at the company, but I have already made some improvements in my daily tasks to be able to work more efficiently. I have also built an excellent relationship with my colleagues and the team in Spain who sends me the requests. I have reached 100% in my first KPI.
Recently, I have received my evaluation and the team in Spain highlighted the speed with which I answer the requests and that I am always ready to solve the problems, never leave them aside. It makes me very happy that my work is shown in the result.

Global Bid Manager
IBM July 2014 - February 2017I was brought on board to support Spain as Global Bid Manager in the European team as it grew outside the Americas and Asian Pacific to serve the entire world. It is the only International team at the whole IBM organization who manages bids throughout all over the world. And the department is still growing into new areas.
I just started working at the company when Spain was continuously late processing the cost requests far beyond the given deadline. So I had to put all my experience gained during my lifetime spent between Spanish people to find the way to communicate with the in-country specialists at the Solution Design Center to get action and bring to pass the deals before the due date. Now, they are never late and we could reduce the timeliness to 23% and bring the compliance readiness to 97% satisfactory.
Operation Support Specialist
Avis Budget Group June 2013 - June 2014I was hired to establish a new department named Operation Support to support Spain with 3 persons in the team and 5 persons in the UK team. We had to build up the processes and to create the time management.
After a 3 weeks training, I was sent out to an AVIS station in Madrid, Spain to get an insight of the work there and to make connections with the colleagues. When I came back, we were capable to manage ourselves in the 3-person team and go live without a team leader or without any support by working together with my two, a Cuban and a Spanish colleague.
We were the pilot team with the UK team to show to AVIS that our work worth the effort to stay alive. We were highly recognized for our great work and save money to the company by closing the rentals in our systems.
Customer Service Representative
eBay España August 2007 - August 2011I was contacted by the company to support the Spanish customer service of eBay with other 8 colleagues from different Spanish speaking countries. The team grew into 25 persons and 3 other departments while I was working there.
I was promoted very quickly to handle the billing related questions of the Spanish users and later to work also in a new department named Aruba for eBay banner users to contact them in English.
My team leader gave me his appreciation for being one of the best customer service representatives in his team and he asked me to help him with the assistant’s work when the assistant was out of the office. I was happy to receive this kind of confidence and responsibility
MAPI Corporation May 2006 - July 2007I was hired by the company to fill the office manager position and also received an assistant to help my work. We started with 20 persons in the company and while I was working there we hired new colleagues and the company started to grow.
The CEO made me to be his right hand and I was the one who responded his emails on behalf. He taught me how to write formally and also asked me to take care of the arrangements of his business and personal meetings.
When I started at the company we moved to a bigger office and the CEO asked me to take care of the office matters, as finding a cleaning service and making the selection, ordering the plants, contracting a door mat service, etc. This made me feel very important.
When the CEO addressed me with a new task, I had to decide if take care of it myself or give the request to my assistant. In this case, I had to control the quality of her work
Freshfields Bruckhaus Derringer Law Firm March 2001 - April 2006I worked in this law firm as legal assistant supporting the tax and real estate departments. There were one hundred people in this firm, lawyers, apprentices, legal assistants, receptionists Hungarian and foreigner colleagues until the lead firm has moved out from Hungary.
During my work at the law office as legal assistant I received the task to write real estate sales and purchase contract amendments which were signed by one of the lawyers, and sent out to Spain by DHL. It was a very important task and I was grateful for the confidence that the lawyers and bosses had in me. First I only wrote legal letters from dictation, then by myself court applications for registration for new companies and attorney secondments reports, payment and seizure orders and finally these contract amendments. I was thrilled.
Agrupación Funeuropa Insurance Corporation April 1998 - February 2001I was brought on board to be the personal assistant of Pedro, the CEO. His right hand, until the company’s operation came to an end in Hungary.
Because the CEO was living in one of the most expensive hotels in Budapest while he was working at the company, I had a direct contact with his hotel guest service agent. I called her when Pedro needed a cake to his room or an appointment to the hotel’s hairdresser.
The CEO’s family was living in Madrid, Spain, so Pedro every week went home. I was the one who was booking his flight tickets and arranging his trips back home on Fridays and then back to the office on Mondays. Sometimes reserving also hotel rooms when he visited other countries or the lead corporation in Barcelona.
I was asked to assist the marketing project with two colleagues to promote the company's funeral insurances on TV and the press. It was really interesting creating the project and to lunch it. And finally, see the ad in the TV.
Mexican Embassy July 1997 - February 1998Working at the embassy between Mexican diplomats and Hungarian assistants, also with two drivers from Ecuador was a great experience
I was the youngest person there and the assistants were showing me their specific tasks at the embassy, and asked me to help them. We still get in touch as I receive the invitations to the Mexican receptions celebrated by the embassy. I always attend the Independence Day of Mexico’s reception where the ambient is great. Mariachis are playing music, we all eat and drink. There are ambassadors, diplomats at the party and Mexicans who live in Hungary. At the end, only the Mexicans stay to have fun dancing. It feels like being in Mexico.
I was helping to the Mexican Consul with the visa releases. People came to ask for visas. I gave them the application forms and made the visa permits.
