During my experience as a management consultant, I took part in different projects in the areas of strategy, operating model design, supply chain, smart city projects for various companies operating in retail, home appliances, packaging, jewelry, steel pipe, government and public, pharmaceutical, data and customer experience management, and automotive sectors. In these projects, I analyzed current state of the business, sector trends and competitors, developed strategies and target operating models, identified improvement areas in terms of business functions and prepared development road maps with project offerings/initiatives specifically designed for the clients’ needs based on qualitative and quantitative analysis.

As a converter process engineer in Feminine Care Department, I worked on projects for increasing efficiency, effort-loss elimination: I focused on projects targeting the bottleneck areas of the product lines according to statistical analysis and observations. I held the leadership position for start-up of the converter projects, i.e. implementing the global projects on department’s product lines by tracking the projects’ development globally, completing the pre-work steps, executing the project, completing the qualification tests and reporting them. Additionally, I was responsible of quality systems continuous improvement in the department by tracking product quality indicators, taking actions accordingly and implementing projects concerning the product quality. In the department, I had DMS tracking and budget ownership responsibilities including Finished Product Quality, Material Utilization, Centerline as KPIs, and General Material Utilization, Supply & Expense budgets.

I worked on 3 individual projects where I analyzed the problems and completed by the deadline: I created an “End-to-end distributor management system”, worked on a baseline forecasting project (with a result of ~30% increase in forecast accuracy in top sellers) and created an analytical transfer system for distributors (which was presented to UL Global Team for global deployment). I have automatized most of the processes for demand forecasting and replenishment (with a decrease of ~98% in man-hours). In the meantime, I participated in an organization project (with other Supply Chain interns) related to HR which the company actively carries out as a recruiting strategy.

I worked on a global digitalization project: I was responsible of the projects' implementation in Turkey office. I completed the pre-work and transaction processes for a global project about digitalization by analyzing the validity of the vendors and their required documents for the risk evaluations and profiles. After completing the transaction to the new system and defining vendors, I also completed risk profile analysis for a sample.

I worked on process management stages of Finansbank: I was responsible of tracking internal customers’ systemic complaints by connecting the problems to the technical departments: understanding the root cause, transmitting the required actions to the corresponding department and tracking the progress. I also took part in several projects: I completed the data collection and analysis steps of a project about optimization of the interfaces used by internal customers. In addition, I took part in the Digital Archive Project where the documents in the branches’ archives were concerned. I conducted site visits with the team to selected branches in different areas and collected information for the calculation of average FTE required for transition.
