My experience in Sweden couldn’t be better. I studied Swedish and learned a lot about the local culture. Sweden has so much to teach us about sustainability, technology, equality, education, values, principles, ecology etc.; yet I feel that they have so much to learn from us.

Au pair is an international cultural exchange program that gives a possibility for young people to spend some time abroad, learn more about a different culture, improve the foreign language in exchange for help with duties related to child care. While living in Belgium as an au pair I had the chance to learn basic Dutch and a lot about Belgium culture by spending time with a local Belgium family and attending to Dutch classes. This period in Belgium taught me so much about myself and about who I want to be that I will never regret taking this important break from my professional life. Above all the meaningful lessons I’ve learned, the most important one is that I can adapt myself and overcome any professional or personal obstacle. After this unique experience in Belgium I became more confident and passioned about challenging myself.
