Mitigated through laborious negotiations the costs associated to the disputed Purchase Orders cancellations (due to Force Majeure or relinquishment of certain exploration blocks) – since beginning of 2016 cancelled at ZERO cost to OMV more than EUR 16 Mil of POs being in advanced phase of collection/delivery. 3. Successfully directed the Contracts and Procurement role in negotiations aimed to avoid costs related to contractual claims/variations (for accrued potential liabilities of USD 20Mil+).

Highlights: 1. Directed a group-wide alignment of the Engineering related Contracting Strategies (including by setting-up the needful group-wide level applicable MSAs). 2. Have successfully set-up (including Tendering, Negotiation and Contract execution) the company's first Strategic Alliance for Integrated Project Management and EPCM services having under its umbrella 2 different Refineries (i.e. Schwechat in Austria and Burghausen in Germany). Later on the concept was rolled-out and implemented including in the third company's refinery - Petrobrazi (Ploiesti city, Romania).
