Designing and building a test rig for conductive grease- bearing combinations in electric machinery • Simulating conditions similar to that of an electric vehicle and inspect the electrical pitting • Designing the parts, assembling and rendering the entire rig in Solidworks • The rig is for the 6208 bearing series and runs at speeds close to 14000 rpm(Over the limiting speed of the bearings) • In-house production of the test rig • The rig is perfectly balanced to prevent any vibrations from occurring and is run for long periods to check the durability Software used SolidWorks, Creo, MATLAB, Python, ANSYS Workbench, SKF Bearing calculator
