Analysing, evaluating and making recommendations for business and development loans within China and abroad. Assessing clients and their related industry as part of the due diligence procedure; conducting assessment reports, industry analysis and financial statements analysis, identifying possible risks, conducting asset valuations, credit rating. Presenting reports to board members, discussing the findings, ensuring the loans are aligned to the bank’s internal policies, aims and objectives and negotiating the final loan values. Negotiating and liaising with the internal legal and risk teams and the client’s legal teams to finalise and agree the contractual agreements to ensure sign off in a timely manner. Monitoring loans and repayments ensuring they are in line with contractual obligations and agreements. Responsible for risk management, regulatory assessments, client relationship management and reporting to internal departments regarding client’s compliance and legal issues.
