about the role
Work closely with functional and operational teams across the business to understand their data needs and develop solutions that allow them to make data-informed decisions.Use statistical methods to develop, analyze data and generate useful business reportsWork with management team to create a prioritized list of needs for each business segmentIdentify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processesUse data to create models that depict activity, workforce and productivity trends within IBOWork with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for each business methodManaging master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.Managing users and user roles.Provide quality assurance of imported data.Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.Helping develop reports and analysis.Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.Generating reports from single or multiple systems.Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.Training end users on new reports and dashboards.Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.Acting as a liaison on Business Intelligence initiatives between business users and technology team.

Capable of taking initiatives and making business decisions based on objectives and directions of the company considering risk factors involved.Solid performance in delivering customer service, people management skills with good motivation and negotiation skills.Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit.Results oriented, highly self-motivated and build effective customer and project team relationships.Maintain a polished professional appearance at all times.Ability to travel by plane, rail, or auto.
