Learning to leverage mileage awards with our United Travel Hacks Evaluation

In today’s modern world, and with some creative research you can learn to travel the world, and from time to time in great style. Even with larger parties of four you can acquire points, and take trips to exotic locations around the world. Here is a review of some of these travel hacking tips to help you get started in your United Travel Hacks Evaluation.

Earlier in the year we talked about some travel hacks in regards to generating United status ranking and acquiring point quickly. To recap we applied and received the following credit cards, and their functions for this test.

1. Chase United Card – Made minimum usage and bonus miles received.

2. Chase United Red Carpet Card – Made minimum usage and bonus miles received.

Now with these cards and our normal flying for work 180,000 flyer miles to date. The cards also helped me acquire a higher status much quicker as well of Gold, and the qualification of Premier Platinum was met for this current year.

Now how did all of this actually help when traveling? First of all the United Gold allowed me to access the Start Alliance Lounges for all EVA flights, and the Chase United Red Carpet Card comes with free access to all of United Club lounges world wide. Also since United status gave me access to a higher level of worker in EVA Air the miles expiring soon on the EVA Air Mileage program where applied to the current ticket allowing it to be upgraded to business class. Now the thirteen hour flight from Taipei Taiwan to Los Angles USA will be much better.

In another post we will provide an evaluation of the EVA Air Business Class Experience, and how it applies to the United Travel Hacks Evaluation.

Happy Travels,
