This is so valid topic @Kym Dolcimascolo ! I have two aspects to this. I will put them in separeate boxes. The first aspect is the obvious and basic need ( to me ) to keep NOTHING as my guide. However, when I started to study art in the 90's, gradually first my home(s) house(s) appartment(s) basement(s) etc. strted to fill up with art MATERIALS. During the first years of studies, when searching for the direction, everything was tested - and still I have these tools and materials, and as a multi-person I never know when they might come handy ... : ) So what was the result ? I carry these boxes with art supply ( note : not just old works ) from move to move - and art has begun to be a burden and a hindrance of my practice of art of and about NOTHING !
