From a dealer in Yorkshire, a stunningly beautiful and extremely well preserved IWC officer's watch in 9 karat gold with London hallmarks for 1928. Totally original and correct in every aspect. As called for, the calibre 64 movement is marked "Peerless" and "S&Co.", the latter being a reference to Stauffer & Co., IWC's London based British importer at the time. It is extremely rare to find trench watches from this period in such pristine condition, but Britain is certainly the best place to find these gems since they were one of the largest importer of Swiss watches in the world at the time.
