    #3 Adam, i've often wondered the same thing. We live in a zero sum world with finite resources. The expectation of infinite growth doesn't seem realistic. And yet that's what every economic model is based on, mainly because we have long abandoned "traditional" economic models that are based on actual value. Everything is about potential or perceived value, which is why you have so many Unicorn Startups.

    What I don't understand about traditional economic models is this: they appear to rely on the need for constant growth in order to succeed. But if the world is limited in its geographical size and there are only so many people on the planet, then at some point, it seems we are going to eventually find ourselves in a place where our models are no longer relevant or functional.
